So does that mean her tears smell like licorice?
I fully intended to post a variant on that, but I was too slow.

There's a song from a but ten years ago that has lyrics that go something like this: "I am a scientist / And I try to live on science alone!" I think that this is the case for Millifeulle. She's tries to be full-on just the research bot. I think that this is quite unhealthy and likely why she goes berserk whenever she turns on her Drinkr app; she has to let loose all that tension. In that, she reminds me of the behaviour of all the young professionals in the finance sector. One of the reasons they party so heavily and unhealthily (and, frankly, antisocially) is because of the extreme stresses and lack of normal social interactions they have.

The realisation of the total social desert that is her life clearly has hit Milli like a wrecking ball. So, maybe the time has come for Milli to look for all the people in her life who can fill in those blanks. I wonder how long it will be before she realises that guy with the moustache (Jones, I think?) would really like to be her friend if she weren't to keep completely ignoring him?

I think that, if Renee heard what Brun said in panel 2, she'd need to deny that she's crying and excuse herself to an urgent appointment.

Yes, funny you should mention that. I see both of these as very much complementary actions. If we as a society want to rid ourselves of dangerous of soul-destroyingly boring jobs, then a UBI means no-one needs to do them anymore and automation means they still get done.

As Google keeps proving with their mismanagement of YouTube (especially in regards to copyright issues), there will always be those cases where a human (or human level intelligence) is needed to make a decision. Even when soul-crushing boredom is present.

I love the cheerful chibi Renee offering helpful life advice! And I also like that Brun sincerely loves and relies on her.

So, Brun got up at 4 AM to go to the bathroom - then came back to fall asleep again on the same robot butt?   :-D
And the owner of said robot butt, while well aware that Brun had moved, made no attempt to get up in the meantime?

By sleeping on Millie's butt, Brün has validated her decision to enhance it.
Her butt is socially useful.

Funny thing is, I saw this just as I was wondering whether the proper word for ouzo was Lesbian or Lesvian.

Something tells me that another hypothesis Millifeulle has had proven is that having friends is a good thing. First Dora and Tai and now Brun too! She's having such positive experiences from it!

Technical note: So, Milli has an internal storage tank that she uses to store fluids she drinks. This can then be used to augment her stores of coolant, osmotic cleansing fluid and the like. I can honestly say that, as far as eccentric chassis engineering goes, this doesn't even feel like it gets into QC's top five!

I expect her chassis came with a user manual, but Millie obviously hasn't read it. Guess she's more focused on having learning experiences in the non-virtual world.

I'd like to elucidate that, to day, I've gotten only one private message from Cornelius; that message contained only a generic question about the literary-stylistic ability of it's primary audience.

Do your fantastic word-smithing skills include ignorance, or deliberate misuse, of the common apostrophe?

It looks to be a mix of a Latinate (probably Spanish or Portuguese] and English.
Running either through a bad translator program might explain some of this.

I suspect this may have already been covered, but would it be safe to drink, or would it be mixed in with whatever else was in there?

Back on topic: it is a good question; what would they actually use? What's more, what would happen to it, going through their system? Temperatures might not be good for some things either.

I'd leave it for someone else to test, as well.

If they choose to leave, maybe they (gender-neutral, singular) will reflect on their decisions here.
If they choose to stay, perhaps they will opt to revert to their (gender-neutral, singular) more coherent initial posts, or continue communicating as they hve been.

Ultimately, it is ToporChambre's choice Jack.

No matter what they choose, 'tickety-boo' is my reply (barring any instances of actual bullying).

EDIT: Forgot the word 'leave' in the first sentence.

Jack, I wouldn't worry about your language skills. Most people here realise there's a diverse, multinational crowd here, and not everyone has the same grasp of written English. We do make allowances for that.

English is not my first language either.

If you're worrying about my reactions to the other poster, let me assure you, I was giving them the benefit of the doubt, until their pm to me.

Your English is understandable.
Bluntly put, some of TorporChambre's more recent posts come across as strings of words picked out of a thesaurus and placed slightly out of order in a passive voice with non-English/non-Anglicized words occasionally being thrown in. I can barely make heads or tails of a lot of it and I collect archaisms as a hobby.

EDIT: Typo fix.
Also, not trying to be mean. Just stating observations.

I will only add another nail in preparation to that coffin in that there was more than one private message to the person about a certain fun thread they have now usurped.
It was something to do with not following the rules as explained and then more explicitly explained and then messaged without response before said hijack.

I have given up on the matter for now and will take up the reigns once they have tired of their antics.

Now I contort, despite my interpersonal-activity consul's advice to stay mutual ignorance, for here seem personae among my favourites, (Too are some my disfavourites---likely mostly merely proximitily.)

English' grammar factors intrasentencial order.

I will only add another nail in preparation to that coffin in that there was more than one private message to the person about a certain fun thread they have now usurped.
It was something to do with not following the rules as explained and then more explicitly explained and then messaged without response before said hijack.
Only two such from you to me private messages were. Of those, one (to which a response from me to you was) expressed delight about some posts, nonunderstanding (stricter---disambiguous---style I since for such threads use) about other posts (indication of which had been requested in that response from me to you; yet such indication I not have); another was merely notifiage of erratum (appropriate corrigendum issued)
Those minely-started threads stayed the prime purpose: recreational consumption of questionable content.
If you're worrying about my reactions to [TorporChambre], let me assure you, I was giving them the benefit of the doubt, until their pm to me.
The other option was taking offense and reporting that message there and then.
Of that message what might you take as offense, or violation? Another option:

So some of it is down to grammatical differences.

From the spelling of your user name, I'm guessing either French or a former French colony?
I'm not going to try to guess which one, there's a large margin of error for that.
