Not to mention the human trafficking concerns surrounding prostitution; or the way many of them are coerced into it, even without being transported across the continent.
Coercion is not inherent to prostitution. If a prostitute is being coerced, then why doesn't he seek recourse? If prostitution is illegal, he can't easily go to the police about it. That argument about prostitutes being more coerced than nonprostitutes only applies when prostitution is illegal. Furthermore, there are other support systems that a prostitute might use for recourse. A prostitute might use the services of a madame or pimp. A prostitute might use a mafia-style insurance, where the mafia, for a fee, promises to harm anyone that doesn't do his part of the transaction. Perhaps there are other support systems in place for prostitutes. The ones I mentioned are not great. If prostitution were legal, a prostitute could just go to the police like any other person. (Not that that's much better, mind you.)
Why are you against the transportation of humans? I benefit from being transported quite often. Even during the epidemic, I sometimes use transportation on myself to get to and from the grocery store.
Well, it's not quite that simple. For instance, the mis-use of drugs can lead to self-harm which imposes a cost on the society which then picks you up and cares for you (though admittedly some don't do all that much in that regard).
There is not much that is simple in the world. Drugs are no exception. Better education about the effects of the drug leads to less mis-use. Being illegal makes it difficult to study it, meaning we know less about it. Being illegal makes would-be consumers reluctant to seek the information, fearing prosecution. Being illegal makes the topic taboo for some. To pre-empt "think of the children", a parent is less likely to spent much time speaking with his children about taboo topics, and children are less likely to bring up taboo topics with their parents. This leads to a situation where many a parent will spare only a few sentences on the topic of drugs. For example, "don't do drugs" or "drugs make you stupid".
To paraphrase your argument about drugs:
Well, it's not quite that simple. For instance, the mis-use of razors can lead to harm which imposes a cost on the society which then picks you up and cares for you (though admittedly some don't do all that much in that regard).
Should razors be banned because they might be used or bloodletting?
