QC Captions Volume #442 (2020 May 25-29)
« on: 25 May 2020, 14:07 »

It's Memorial Day Stateside  - also it's Quarantine day .... again.   :-(

It's hot, getting Humid and my Droid AC just 'aint cutting it  :grumpypuss:

Now for some other possible grumpiness or shenanigans or more references to Woofington. You all decide.

A good pun is it's own reword.
There is a difference between spare parts, extra parts and left over parts.

The Venn diagram  for Common Sense and Good Sense has very little, if any, overlap.

Faye: You're telling me the grocery store is out of food.
Yay: All they had in stock was this bag of Sir Woofington's Organic Dog Treats. Enjoy.
Roko: I swear there's gotta be some burgers around here somewhere.

FAYE: "So, what's the plot now?"

YAY: "We intend to become a global spokesperson for this fine brand of dog treats. We consider it to be the absolution of the many... questionable things we have done in the past to give good boys and girls a good treat!"

ROKO: "I'm getting out of here before they pull out some advertising materials and try to talk Faye into adopting a rescue or something."

"Sorry, readers don't like you."
"But they will. We are adorable yet deadly, like a cat. Look, check out these quirky dog treats for my lovable dogs."
"I am staying out of this."

Faye: No. Doesn't work like that.
Yay: But we do assure you, these are far superior to Scooby Snacks. Lovingly crafted by a local artisan, with only the finest ingredients.
Roko: I'm out of here, before they get started on the effect of picknick baskets again..

Faye: “So you two are running around on Main Street in your underwear because...?”

Yay: “It was a game. For every dog treat I consumed she had to remove an article of clothing, and vice versa.”

Roko: “And then Melon ran off with our clothes. I hope she doesn’t leave them on the balcony of City Hall again.”

Faye:  I've been told that Dinsdale Piranha had his head nailed to the floor.

Yay: No. Never. He was a smashing bloke. He used to buy his mother flowers and all that.

Raye ... er .... Roko: The police have film of Dinsdale actually having his head nailed to the floor.
