Question Re: the print volumes of QC
« on: 14 Oct 2020, 16:37 »

Is there somewhere that I can find which range of strips is covered by each volume? I'm sure it will turn out to be in some stupidly obvious spot I've overlooked.  :-\

So, basically, 300 strips per volume. Even my addled brain should be able to remember that. Thanks!

There is a total of 6 volumes going from the first strip, to Dora and Marten's  reakup.  Nothing beyond that. That would be about #1800 or so.

Some of the early strips were... Remastered. Redrawn in a style where you actually can recognize people from their current looks.
Man, did the style change within the first thousand Strips...

If you like tidy shelves, note that vols 1-3 are a different format from vols 4-6.

Sorry for the necropost, but is there any word on a vol. 7?

I've been considering buying the print QC Volumes, and I was just hoping for some clarification on something.

Are they just prints of them as they appear online, or are they all redrawn in a more modern style?

I know he posted a few here and there, and they look amazing, but if I can get a clearer answer, I'll grab a few of them.

Hi, new person!

The QC books are collections of the strips as they appear online. Each strip has additional author commentary, there's some bonus content at the end, and there are a few dialogue tweaks and font changes, but the art is the same as the original online strips for nearly every comic, save a few that Jeph chose to redraw. Hope that helps.
