Yes. I was just about to mention that they had two parents for a while. The children have their dad's behavior to deal with plus the impact of a rough divorce.

A puppy was born with six legs.

Yes.

I’ll admit, I’m curious about the puppy.

EDIT: Ah. Is this an April 1st thing?

I thought that was some sort of metaphor but apparently it really happened (and the articles are from February which means it's not a joke): https://www.livescience.com/puppy-six-legs-skipper.html

Not sure of the relevance though lol

I imagine it took some time for the puppy to figure things out.

There's been a few spammers getting in recently that post a link to an article (which appears to be true, though the linked is a tad shady) about a six-legged puppy. One such thread from last month has been left up, and there is also a rule  mentioned in the newsbox (I presume because of April 1st) that "all posts must mention a puppy being born with six legs".

Crap.  Can't write what I wanted to, because like a dumbass, I looked at the Patreon before posting, and don't want to inadvertently post foreknowledge.

Also, something something insect puppy.

The spammer showed a level of persistence that would be admirable in another context and the puppy newspost is in her memory.

Ha, I didn't even see the 'new forum rule' until Pilchard pointed it out. Goes to show how much attention I pay.

I wonder if the streaming income is why Clinton and Claire haven’t mentioned student loans as a big concern?

I don't recall any other characters mentioning student loan debt (though I may be wrong). I think it's more likely that it's just not a topic Jeph wants to spend time on in his comic rather than something special about Claire or Clinton.

I doubt it, Aurelia said it was a recent development.

I vaguely remember Marten mentioning student loans very early on.

Aurelia is happy that Clinton is trying to build a relationship with Elliot. However, that last panel tells me that, should Clinton so much as miss a single step, she is going to pounce!

eh, it could be invasive, but she seems more flattered than anything, in the main in this context. and why shouldn't she be?
i get the main demographic that's gonna participate on a forum discussion of this comic aren't, like, used to this sort of thing i suppose, but there's plenty of people that like to feel sexy and appreciated. context matters a whole helluva lot, for example public catcalling can be obnoxious (most guys who attempt it are really bad at it), but like... it can be harmless. and fit into the vibe of the performance she's putting on.

i mod for a vtuber, and i've had to step in a couple times when someone started crossing boundaries in chat that she wasn't comfortable with, from people that honestly seemed fairly well-meaning just too enthusiastic for the most part. but she gets to set what those are. it's her space to perform in, to play with her actual friends and her fans in.

i'm not saying you can't set those boundaries tighter for yourself. i do! just i want to encourage examining those on the regular. i had, and still have, a lot of baggage that causes me to needlessly, uselessly, often harmfully constrict myself. (gasp, a queer person having self-repression issues, i know who'd have thought). and i don't want you to hurt yourselves the same way i hurt myself. make different mistakes!  :parrot:

Just so long as Aurelia doesn't have to deal with any fans that go way down the parasocial relationship rabbit hole and they try to stop by (it happens IRL from time to time).

The organically vast amount of slow-moving changes in the characters' lives as well as all of the moments of interaction between them does allow for a remarkably deep experience of being able to see and feel where and who they have been !!  The following was a different time for Clinton!!

https://www.questionablecontent.net/comics/2853.png

A side note, it is wonderful to encounter these Jephvangelion moments throughout the story, including how they subtly yet acutely portray that QC takes place in a far different version of the world than we have yet been given a full picture!

IIRC, Marten mentioned that the proceeds from one of his mom's encounters went to defray some of his tuition.

one more of these, i hope it will be ok where this is essentially last week's thread!
I am not sure if this is connected with MM420, theoretically she was already working on this much earlier in the story, and the bass shares the same three main colors with MommyMilkers !!!  which is amazing whether it wasn't or was a complete coincidence on Jeph's part!!

Either way, it is certainly an earlier glimpse at another creative hobby of Aurelia's!!
