Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City

It looks like someone is actually taking the games Resident Evil 1 & 2, mashing them together and putting it to film:

Yeah, there are definitely bits from RE and RE2 there but I also think that RE3 might have some part in this film, given that there is a character who looks a lot like the RE:3R Carlos in some shots. Obviously Chris, Claire, Leon and what looks like Albert Wesker too.

Is this a feature film or a TV miniseries? I can't see the entire story of the Raccoon City Outbreak fitting into a 120-minute theatrical release without it being abridged to mincemeat. Basically, any attempt to compress the first two or three games into one film would be an inevitable disaster.

Its going to be a film, but I agree, I think it would have made a great mini-series.

Cast:
Kaya Scodelario as Claire Redfield

Hannah John-Kamen as Jill Valentine
Tom Hopper as Albert Wesker
Avan Jogia as Leon S. Kennedy
Donal Logue as Chief Brian Irons
