What's the hardest game/challenge you ever completed?

I remember Megaman I was a nightmare the first times.. In fact, I don't remember finishing it.. Not having passwords made it just too impassable..

M2 wasn't that bad.. I used to beat it constantly.. And I was like.. 11? :D

Omega Weapon could be a bitch if you didn't use Holy Wars and such.. Never tried it the long way, too much patience needed.

Contra III in Hard was one of my personal goals for long, but I made it to the fifth level boss (the one that looked like a desert and the boss was a big round thing that throwed worms to you.. the fucker)

Do you remember Aero the acrobat? I only finished that game once and then i got instantly sick of it.. What was the deal with those old games that didn't include a level password ala Megaman 2 and so on? Grrr...

I'll probably post here again.. Got bitter memories.. Oh i do..

I beat Super Mario 64 on the N64. Not just beat the boss, mind you. That can be done with about 60% of the game done. No, I beat every single level, beat the boss, even went back and beat the pinguin race again.

That boss was a motherfucker. The sandy one, where you would walk closer and it would like, spin you around?

but the music sucks because the keyboards don't have the cold/mechanical sound they had but a wannabe techno sound that it's pathetic for Rammstein standars.

If you're talking about the game I thin you're talking about, I didn't know that game HAD an ending.

Mike Tyson's Punchout.  Without codes

I swear I spent three straight days trying to beat him.  I finally just gave up.  Bastard got the best of me.  Ah, well.  Such is life.

I beat Crystalis for the NES.

I remember one of the near last bosses took almost 40 minutes of mind-numbing lightning-dodging skills to outlast...

Ninja Gaiden for the Xbox is a good game and pretty challenging.  It took me quite awhile to get down the whole shooting arrows with arrows.

Yep, Ninja Gaiden is the hardest I've played.

yes. it was a crappy one. they had to save memory for all the tedious codes to tell it where you are in the game.

to those who never played, this game didn't have saving, instead it had an algorithm that created and read codes that told it hwere you were in the game -- the items you've gotten and the areas you've discovered. if you didn't write down the code it told you when you quit, you wouldn't get to restart at where you were.
