uh...just wondering, has anyone else read this?

Personally I'm a bit disappointed at the art -- it gets a bit crazy sometimes. It sticks to the game (the first one obviously) pretty well, though.

I've read a comic that is supposively a prequel to the oringial metal gear- extremely poor drawings, fairly lame jokes, ect., but it gets the job done...

is that the same comic?

oh, no. not at all. this isn't a prequel of any kind. It follows the events of Metal Gear Solid, as in the events on Shadow Moses island.

Perhaps I should've mentioned that this one is being published by IDW comics -- I'd only heard of them because of this series, so I don't know if that's bad or good. They make CSI comics, as well, I think.
