I hate to see people give up. Look you're obviously just starting, and you seem to have an interest in sharing your comics, just because they're not so well recieved right now, doesn't mean you can't get better. I think I actually get the pirate joke. "Shh stolen" is written on the side right? An attempt to be sneaky which foils itself. Just looking at that strip (I don't wanna touch the other one with a ten foot pole) Think about how it might appeal to an audience better. If the writing is meant to be paint, maybe it can be drawn in a way that reinforces that, with drips or some other cue. Keep looking for details that may help you to communicate better and you may end up being really awesome, who knows?
