I think this will be a slightly fun distraction for a while.
If this is successful enough, it can happen again.
I'll judge the first time, and if there's another one, I'd like to enter it, so someone else can judge.
The theme... is... Despair. Ok, go crazy.

Buh! I want to join this. MSPaint = very delicious. I shall draw someone despairing over how pixelated they are, mm?

Work? How? Get? Escalator?

Whoever wants to enter, submits a drawing done in MSPaint, I judge them, a winner is declared, and then if all goes well, it can happen all over again with a new judge instead of me, so I can enter.

I suggest http://www.Photobucket.com - a quick and easy place to hotlink your images.

I cannot see the other image, but its despair you want, eh?

Nothing does despair better than the (lost) scream

Compare here(yes, some things are off and some things i left out- bite me)

The Song on the poster, was the song I was thinking of when making this 10 minute entry for this contest with no reward.

Why's this guy crying?  I'll leave it to the forum readers, who take their time to appreciate art, to figure it out.

P.S. If your web browser can't see .PNG files, that's too bad.

The Matrix movies are philosophical and delve slightly into religion. One COULD argue that there are themes of despair, but if you're talking about Neo in particular, it's more self sacrificing and being unable to be free of one's responsibilities.

I think its more of the fact that while the movies may deal with despair on some level, the picture itself has nothing to do with despair. it's the poster. they don't look very sad to me.

Having to listen to "Everybody Hurts"? I'll never understand why people claim that's an uplifting song...
