DC++...because it gives me so much goodness. Mostly use the following huds (give by address)

swedenmetal.no-ip.org:444
acab.afraid.org:4111
HPN3.no-ip.org:23
Winterland.no-ip.com
vomitcum.basement.no-ip.org:6005
thegud.no-ip.org
gotham.servemp3.com
metalblack.no-ip.info

Passive only, sorry people, blame the uni network.
Currently sorting all my files out again, so it's a little bit of a mess.

BitTorrent is the greatest filesharing thing EVER, aside from the massive amount of bandwidth it uses.

BT and  DC++.  All the others come packaged with too much "useful consumer tools" (aka: spyware).  I used to frequent suprnova.org until it shut down, I find torrentreactor.net to be a decent replacement............not that I fileshare or anything cause its naughty and illegal.....*cough*.

DC++ is also awesome, but I only use one hub and it's kinda mega-uber-secret-private-death. So yeah. I should probobly spend some time looking for some other good hubs. One day, one day.

Definitely Soulseek. I have yet to not find anything I have ever wanted to. The addition of searching chatrooms for files was a wonderful addition that massively cut down on time.

My only problem with Soulseek is the occasional server reliability issues.

bittorrent via azerus using isohunt

i used to have kazaa lite k++ 2.6 1e  but BT is far superior.

I mean, even if you're only into like rare concert rips and stuff, BT is the way to go.

Probably not. Well, I could only get onto certain ones when I last tried and even when I did the transfer rates were mostly pretty shitty, even after messing around with my firewall settings and everything. It's just not something thats ever worked for me, despite me trying it  a few times.

Bittorrent via azaereus(sp?) and a copy of Kazaa lite from back before it vanished and was replaced with a spyware ridden trash heap.

Okay, trying again . . .

Say I go to a site I can search for an artist on, right? I search for an artist. Nothing comes up. I try another site, no search.

Can someone just post a good site to look at and tell me what the hell to do? I can't find a file to even download.

Try searching http://www.isohunt.com/. Most of the really good sites require you to be invited and crap, but I'd get used to using Bittorrent before you try and get in to them, or you might well end up screwing something up and get banned. Download the torrent, put it into your client, voila.

i like buying cds too... usually if i DL an album and i like it, i will buy it.
