i'm only getting about 2,500m.  i think that i know what i am doing wrong (ie: not utilising the blue special to hit the dude into the girls who will boost the fuck out of him) but i'm not all that worried, i've had my fun :)

I've gotten 9069.53 m. I've only played it maybe 10 times though. And it took several tries before I realized that you could continue to hit the dude with your bicycle throughout his voyage. :)

I like the specials. In my high-scoring game I got turned into rubber. The guy would continue to bounce higher and higher every time he hit pavement. I think he was up to almost 200 metres at one point. :D

You just click anywhere in the window when the little "SPECIAL!" prompt appears. You only have about a second, though.

5949 & i'm stopping for now, else i'm gonna be at this all evening.

i actually don't mind the "BLOCK" girl now, because sometimes you can get a CFF bonus when she's blocking.  i got one just then that said something to do with a parachute & it made me zoom along horizontally for about 20secs, and one before that gave me a force field that charged up whenever anyone hit it, then the "STOP" girl hit me instead of stopping me, discharging my shield.

this game has far too many strategic elements for such a cutesy little thing.  whoever wrote it should be goddamn proud of all the specials and combos and so forth they've put into it.

I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing, or where any enjoyment might be gained. You hit the guy with a bike, he flys away, bounces off stuff, then stops. It's just like every other 'how far can you hit x' game but takes longer and its jerky as fuck. Strategic elements? You choose the angle and power, and always aim for 100% power, 45 degree angle. How is that strategic?

you're missing out on the strategic elements because the controls are all in japanese.  you can boost the dude in the air 3 times, and you also have a charge-up for boosting him down towards the ground.  the various people on the ground can either help or hinder you, and sometimes there are specials that you can hit that really really help you.

you can boost the dude away from bad people, and into helpful people.  and then even if he runs into certain bad people it can come good again if he either falls onto or you boost him onto someone who can combo off the negative effects.

like i said, strategy.

The part it doesn't explain is what I didn't get for a long time: The boost sends you up if you're going down, and down if you're going up.  I kept trying to click on the down button and wasting ups.
