Oh god.  I love creating new screennames so I have a different one on whatever board I go on.  And I don't play many online games, so it's a message-boarding I go!

See kids, this is why you install XFire.  Gaming friends, and tells you what game they're playing, and where.  Even if they're using voice communication software.  Nyah.

Hey, is est kind of like "Used to form the archaic second person singular of English verbs: comest." sort of thing or something else entirely different?

Also, I think all my pertinent contact information is in my profile, I am lazy.

For Forums, I usually use Mosfet, but if that doesn't work, its PodMonkeys.

For games, I used to play UO (Randolph Carter, and many others), and WoW (Sarielana (F), Amile (F), and Kierbor (M))

For Messengers its usually "joe_" followed by the computer name or purpose, ie: joe_laptop, joe_server, etc.  My AIM is PIXRocks (as in Cisco PIX) :p

Damn straight, I don't know where I'd be without this beauty of a program. My XFire username is 'simonread', although in most games I usually just 'Simon'. You might catch me with a [GAMAVAV] on the front of that, though.

Well, yeah... to buy the game in the first place.

Piracy + online gaming tends to only lead to playing on servers full of hackers or not playing at all. Not that I'd know...

Or anything...

Granted you'll need to buy the game, but you don't have to buy more than one game every six months, sometimes even longer.  For example, I bought the original Half Life in 98, and played Counter Strike and Frontline Force for about 18 months.  Then, in about 2002 I bought Soldier of Fortune 2, and played that for a good solid two years.  HL2 came bundled with my video card, so now I can play CS:S (though I'd prefer to cut my nuts off).

Back to the thread...  :p
