I have a request for all the wallpaper makers out there!!

The iBooty dance! I can't believe no one's wallpaper'd that yet?? That'd be a great one... I'd give it a shot but my art skillz are teh crap.

Anyone else got any ideas?

Yes, I am the wallpaper website pimp! But we should also get a wallpaper sticky...

Nights_Sorrow, go to the QC Wallpaper Gallery and login using these details:

username: qcuser
password: jephrocks

then you can upload your wallpaper directly to the gallery, hence - no need for rubbishy geocities hosting!!

I've never had any difficulty getting bottix.

That new wallpaper doesn't work too well on 1280*1024

Oh thanks, no wonder I couldnt find the right font. Well I updated the fonts, but a few more things Id like to fix before I upload the update. Thanks for the help.

ok, I said I'd take a crack at it.

I know the request was for an "iBooty" dance. but I was just not quite in the mood to do anything witty and make it worthy of being called a parody.

I'm sure at higher resolutions, it's going to look pretty jaggy. I'll see about trying to make a cleaner copy toreplace this one with.

the comic today gave me an idea. I had to fiddle around with it though to make it work on a 1024x768. I wouldn't have had to much if it was for a powerbook or something.

I was bored, and I felt really bad for Faye. I don't think it's healthy to feel bad for comic characters, but I figured making a wallpaper from it would make her feel better.

Cool! I'm no good with the art programs, but might I suggest to you Photoshop wizards out there that if you could extend the wall out a bit to the left of Marten and Faye, that would make an ideal wallpaper as it would keep desktop icons from obscuring the characters. Pop a QC logo on it and you're done! Just a suggestion...

Click login up in the top corner, and log in with

username: qcuser
password: jephrocks

Then under the Admin Options menu select 'Add Photos' and then go from there

Extend the wall? the panel is already too wide, I had to move faye and marten closer together so that it'd work correctly.

Well, you'd obviously have to add some height as well. I was focusing on the horizontal aspect of the resizing to hopefully illustrate my point about creating a space for your desktop icons so they don't block the characters. Adding height should be simple enough, I would think. Once you get above their heads, it's mostly just a solid field of grey (I think it's grey, I'm colourblind though).

Another idea would be to incorporate the storefront (as seen in the first frame of the strip) into the picture to create that extra space for the icons. Like I've said before, I'm not experienced with Photoshop or related programs, but it seems to me that after cutting Marten out of the picture, fixing the storefront should be simple as it's all straight lines and solid colours (except for the lighting effect on the windows).

Anyways, them's my $0.02.

Wow, i just found this and I've been using as my wallpaper The No Love for the Emo strip just pasted on my computer. My favourite is the There may be some drama wallpaper. But its missing Raven I don't like that.

Also I'm thinking the black background and the green ibooty should be a tshirt

I don't suppose people would want to make future wallpapers a bit larger 1280 * 1024 for example, It seems a shame as half of these I can't use.

Oh I never said, but I hoped people liked the Black iBooty Dance wallpaper; I did it uploaded and forgot to tell anybody.

I find that 1024x768 papers don't look *that* bad under 1280x1024. They don't stretch that much...

Also, according to my count we have 49 QC wallpapers!! That rocks!! (Excluding all the different sizes that is)

i made a wallpaper out of an image that jeph put on his LJ a while ago (its the one about comic sans). i made it so it would fit on the screen better but its really just jephs image sized a little to fit right on the desktop. i'm at work right now so i will upload it later today when i am at home.
