^ You might want to cut that image out of your sig before the mods skin you. :)

That R.o.s.e online thing looks pretty nifty. I will have to see about trying it sometime.

No, we are not. We are not supposed to quote the person above us either!

quotes are fine; just try to not quote the person directly above you.

Well, it's just that quoting the person directly above you is incredibly silly. I mean, it's right there above you. There's exceptions to the quoting rule of course, namely looking at a specific part of a post.

http://forums.questionablecontent.net/viewtopic.php?t=3084

Look that over. It should explain everything on the quote. As for the sig image, go check the forum rules in the general discussion forum.

I tried to play R.o.s.e. but the damn thing couldn't update, it goes some way before it crashes, then After I restart the application, it goes allitle further before crashing.  but after a while the updater will start from 0 again, I never got beyond 55%.  So then I said "Screw it" and didn't click on it again.  I was never able to play it.  this was about a month ago, have they fixed it yet?

...there you go again, it's right there and they only just said it.
I'm fairly new around here, but I can see that quoting should only be necessary if readers will have NO idea what you're referring to

Sorrry, I don't mean to be a jerk or anything.

You did it again Kurt.
Maybe I should re-download the game, which do you recomend, the installer? or the .zip file?

Ok kids, we pointed it out to him. That's all. Back off of the kid. Let Mods do their deal from this point.

I played rose for a while, I got to level 30 with about 4 of my friends before we realised it was actualy quite boring and very repetative.

Eh.  If a game is worthy, I'll talk about it.  Or so horrible that I cannot stop myself.

Yeah, the servers are full a lot.  The whole game is being reset tomorrow, so all your characters will be deleted, and you'll have to start over.

you can still download ragnarok?  i mean i know you can, but don't you have to pay to play now?  i beta'd that one and it was pretty sweet, but moved a little slow for me to justify paying.

I loved Ragnarok for a while (I beta'd too because I was a poor college student), but I couldn't see paying for the game as it was.  It seems to have been improved a lot lately though, so I'm considering it....

let me know if you do.  maybe we can get on the same server or some such.  final fantasy 11 is getting a little tedious.

Will do.  RIght now I'm torn between going back to Ragnarok, picking up DragonRealms again, or finding something that's free so I don't bankrupt myself with my rp addiction and current lack of income ^__^;;
I have a friend that plays FFXI obsessively, but I've never really seen the attraction.

it's actually great up until about level 30 and a bit further if you like the new classes.  after that it turns into a bit of a grind, which is where i'm losing interest.  i stuck around so long for my linkshell (guild) and the people in it.  nice kids.

Are there any MMO's with out "The Grind"?

I've played a few and they all seem to have it, which might explain why I keep creating new characters once my old ones hit a certain level!

Currently I'm trying out Medievia.com
Its free and i can play it at work and not look too obvious! :)
