Hi everybody! Newbie here--I hope this doesn't count as "thread necrophilia."
I recently discovered Questionable Content via xkcd, got addicted, and blew through all the strips marathon-style over the course of 3 days... a familiar tale, I'm sure!

Aside from the wonderful writing, what really struck me was the development of mister Jacques' style over the course of the comic's run. It's been years since I really put pen to paper with the intention of drawing anything, but after fast-forwarding through the evolution of QC from its humble beginnings to the stunning presentation it boasts today, I was super-inspired to start again. The artist's love, dedication, and candor reminded me of why I used to draw in the first place, and how stupid I was to ever stop. So thanks mister Jacques,
this is dedicated to you. [/lifestory]
p.s. Before you freak out about the picture (too late? hee hee): I totally flubbed the right arm, but just
could not bring myself to throw this away. It's my first real drawing in forever--and of my absolute favorite QC character, no less! Hence, the horrifying salvage job. No creepy intentions, I swear!
