Returning to twentieth century russians. Igor Stravinsky. That man used some sick shit. I'm also a huge fan of the neo classical composer Tyzen Hsiao.

I'm not as familiar as I should be with straight up piano, but while we are on the subject of composers, Bernstein and Holst are just amazing. The Overture to Candide was one of the most amusing pieces I ever played. Next to Uranus, of course.

I'm actually performing a piece in my choir from Candide. It goes a bit high for my wee Bari voice. Anyway, back to the pianas

What kinda pianos do you have?

Mine's a Steinburg & Sons upright.  When I was little I thought it was a Steinway - hahahah.  I only wish.  But I love it still.

I'm pretty sure he didn't use the piano, but the greatest composer ever is easily Edgar Varese. Period.

but the music sucks because the keyboards don't have the cold/mechanical sound they had but a wannabe techno sound that it's pathetic for Rammstein standars.

ooh ooh ooh i am so in on this one.

i have a yammie C2 in my living room.  it is my baby.  well... to be technical... it belongs to my parents... but seeing as i am the only one who can play it and it was bought for me, then i say it is mine :P

bach is the man.  one day i will learn the entire WTK.  it is my goal.  recently... shostakovitch prelude and fugue in d minor, the AWESOMEST one; and granados, quejas o la maja y el ruisenor.  the other awesomest one.  playing for... 13 years?  yes.  and jazz too.  i am a jazz piano performance student.  who is going to stop typing any time now.
