www.romnation.net

it asks you to vote for the site, but nothing happens if you dont. Itll say 'the file wont work unless you vote' but they are LYING!. it always works for me.

I've always used Rom World. I vote for it whenever I download something, not because you have to, but because it's a good site.

I'm not sure you can get N64 roms anywhere, though.[/url]

we should not discuss illegal acts such as this, lest you wish the board to be shut down.

Rom's aren't illegal, providing you have the original game.

And as we're all nice, law-abiding youths, we wouldn't possibly break the law.

true that good buddy!

Seriously kids, stealing is wrong, and taking these so called 'ROMS' off the website and 'playing' on them is just another way of doing it.

Remember, don't use emulators unless you own the real game. I know i don't

Actually its not legal.  Copying video games is not legal under US and International fair use laws.  What? You didn't know that you are not legally aloud to make back ups of your own games?!  Read the fine print... It is very illegal.

PS: The reason it is not legal is that you only OWN the media that the game came on> CD or Cartridge.  You NEVER own a copy of the game! The actuall software and information on the media is 110% the property of the copy right holder.  You only own the disk that it came on.

No, I think he means find an emulator for XBox that emulates N64 games. Then you can play those games on your tv with your xbox.

Erk: sorry for reviving the post. I didn't realize how old it was until after I posted.

I believe that by fair use rights you can make 1 archival copy of copyrighted material, i don't know if downloading from the internet to play on another device falls under fair use or not.

At any rate threads like this can potentially get forums in trouble, and we don't encourage copyright violation here.
