Mafia
Sudeki
Fable - however fable is good, it's not as good as the commercials made it out to be.
Jade Empire seems like it will be good.
There really aren't that many xbox games available.

that slogan is a good slogan. so good, in fact, I think it should be applied to other things. like, "there's no wrong way to hit your spouse." or "there's no wrong way to commit nonconsentual sodomy."

You must get Burnout 3 : Takedown.

I usually hate racing games, but this one is so addictive it's awesome. Maybe I just like the way the cars smash. mmmm...smashy smashy.

I just rented "The Punisher." I'm usually skeptical of games based on movies or comic characters...but this was also an awesome game. The violence is comparable to the GTA series. I mean hell...what other game can you ...
*warning, maybe a bit of a spoiler*

...sit up out of a coffin and blow the crap out of 25 mob men with a chaingun?

*/endspoiler*

MechAssault2 looks to rule.

I have only played Halo and Crimson Skies on XBox, but both were pretty fun. I'm better at Crimson Skies, though.

I liked burnout 3, but I just got all the  crash golds and the ones for road rage.  Time trials etc are no fun.

There are good games for the X-Box? *blinks*

I kinda liked halo (2). It was... ok. not a fan of fps though, counterstrike was probably my favorite.

Chronicles of Riddick is very good. Don't let the films dissuade you!

I also second the motion for Prince of Persia Sands of Time. That game was so awesome, when I finished it, I immediately played it again in its entirety the next day. The sequel looks as crap though.

Red Star is a "cancelled" game that somehow got out.  Pretty interesting take on a side-scrolling shooter.  Sorta like Mega Man.

Metal Slug 3 if you like side scrollin' shootin' fun.

Also Doom 3 on the xbox is pretty fun.  At least it is my cup of tea.

I am a huge fan of the splinter cell series, so all of those.  As much as I'm against the idea of a guy who has freedom to kill whoever he wants in the name of democracy, it sure is fun!

also, mercenaries was a good little game, call it grand theft auto lite during a war.

pretty much everything that has been mentioned so far is a good bet.

Star Wars Battlefront...I like far more than halo 1 or 2...though if you like halo a lot then yeah, star wars republic commando would be better for you.
