Great album.  The songs I like the most are the ones that show more of the punk influence, like "Tunnels" and "Laika".

I can't say I'm in the habit of counting the number of times I've listened to a particular album . . . However please don't make baseless assumptions about me or about my future behaviour.  It irks me, severely.

It actually took me a while to get into this...
I just thought "Oh yeah, they're sad, they're singing... Almost whining.... its kinda slow... ok...."
I think it was all the hype about it that got me...
And I didn't like the chick singing...

But then suddenly I listened to it one day and just thought WHOOOAAA thats Great!... Funny, but thats seriously how it was, and now I smile when i listen aswell... Yay.

I second that. I never feel like listening to it, but when I force myself to sit down, put on the headphones and just listen...and suddenly I remember why I enjoyed it the first time.

Third that. The only song I can ever recall when I'm not listening to the album is "Wake Up". But when I do listen to it in one sitting, it's great.

Hey guys, google search Intervention, it's a new Arcade Fire track, you can get a couple of live recordings of it. I think I like it better than just about anything else except Tunnels, Power Out and Rebellion.

And yes teh Arcade Fire rock. And I've seen them live. Twice. And it was awesome.

inlander, you are hereby invited to my birthday party. you excellent, excellent bastard.

and james, i was joking at the time, but now i think it was a perfectly valid thing to say. come on, funeral won't mean as much to you in a year as it does now, let along five years down the line. the future of music, exciting new bands and new sounds, is what we have to look forward to, not listening to the same old albums over and over and over.

hmm... we could just buy a big black bag of tight spandex trousers and raincoats and let the little tykes while away the afternoon searching through it and trying them all on? that, or get them all a calender of naked chicks in sunglasses. that outta work.

Whoever, said it gets boring.

I've had that in my six-disc cd player (Just so you its not out of laziness I listen to it.), and no other CD has played on that thing since it has entered the stereo. Thats how much I love/listen to it, daily.

I saw them live a couple of weeks back in Manchester, that was phenomenal, although I wish it had been a smaller venue (as always).

Didn't the album come out last year? In the US anyway...

And the EP is goooooood. But not as good as the album.

Roll on Reading festival (despite it being the worst place to see bands really)!
