So at like 5:30 this morning, Im in my car, and some random mix CD is in, and I'm thinking, "I really dont want to go to work today, Im tired and pissed off.." and then Cakes cover of I Will Survive comes on and for some reason I smile and start singing and rocking out, and by the time I get to work, Im not so annoyed anymore.

So my question is, When you feel like you're having hte worst possible day ever, or are just generally pissed off, what song(s) make you feel happier for no particular reason?

mine:

Cake - I Will Survive
Ben Harper - Burn One Down
Sublime - What I Got
Flaming Lips - Anything
Architecture in Helsinki - Anything
Jack Johnson - Bubble Toes

For some reason I find Fake Plastic Trees by Radiohead massively uplifting. I have no idea why.

I love that Ben Harper cover.  I'll have to think some more up...

Metric--Dead Disco.

I can't help it. I don't dance, as a general rule. But no matter /how/ angry I get, I'll listen to that song, and I can't help but smile and dance a bit.

I agree with the D-Plan's "Back and Forth".  "Ellen and Ben" by them also usually does it for me as well.

As for others, anything off of Sewing with Nancie's "Take a Look at Yourself" (a Canadian band who played my town a few times, and who have become moderately shitty and renamed themselves The Reason)

I have a lot of others, but most tend to be associated with good memories, so it's really more the memories than the songs.
