I've been listening to "Those Who Tell the Truth Shall Die" for a little while now, and it still hasn't grown on me. I just can't get into it... it seems really boring to me. Am I missing something? Maybe it was an off album?

Or maybe you just dont like them. I've never had a problem with them. Maybe you'd like "The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place" better. I haven't heard the new one so I can't comment on how they stack up.
But hey it's Post-Rock, it's never going to be....happening as it where.

The above statement is universally true. If you see explosions in the sky live you will understand them.

They had a lot of stuff in the movie Friday Night Lights. Which really weirded me out. But it is really good in the context of the movie. I haven't listened to Explosions in the Sky outside of said movie, actually, but that movie made me want to.

Personally, I like 'How strange, innocence' best of all the albums. And I promise I'm not just saying that because of the indier-than-thou, first album was best thing. Of course, live is where it's really at.
