This is a Samick that I play.  I haven't given it an official name yet, but I think I'll call it Emile.  Featured alongside this shitty Yamaha and my father's Gibson acoustic from the 60's.  He also has a Gibson SG bass (nicknamed Peaches) like they had in Cream, which owns.  We have too much gear at our house.  If I had talent, I'd be all set for playing in a band. . .

Here are my babies.

The old school acoustic is over a gajillion years old probably...
The electric comes complete with Decemberists sticker and yellow duct tape holding up pickup.

My super duper keyboard is also in the background on my bed.

I play a white DanElectro 56-U2 that I bought at a garage sale for 20 bucks when I was fifteen, works wonders for me.

Basically, this without that ugly green shit on the side:

KharBevNor, I like the wang bar on your guitar. It's a locking system, what type?

Here's my stuff.

The guitar: Circa. 1980's Epiphone Les Paul. A very nice guitar. Epiphone makes some really nice guitars, some not-so-nice guitars, and I got a great deal on this one used. The stickers are made by me.

The Amp
Fender FM212R. 2 12" speakers, 100 watts of useable output. However, I rarely use much of that. It's mostly for quiet stuff, although when performing I turn it up.

The pedals
Boss DS-2 Distortion. This thing is a beast. I love it to death.

Jim Dunlop Crybaby Wah. Smooth, like silk. Yum yum.

Rockin' the Ephiphone Beast:

Image taken off of eBay; the one I own has one less knob and a Distillers sticker across the large jutting part.

Amp:

It is not very large, and it doesn't have a footswitch, but it gets the job done.

It's cause, y'know, I'd look pretty damn stupid rocking up rhythm guitar in my thrash band with one of these:

I swear, I didn't even buy it because ICS Vortex of Borknagar/Dimmu Borgir plays one. That was just a wonderful co-incidence.

I beg to differ.  Throw some EMG 81's or a Seymour Duncan JB in one of those Daisy Rock's and you'd have a hell of an axe.  Pre-pickup swap it would be a little lackluster, though.

Me, I rock one of these:

into either one of these (at college):

Or one of these (at home):

Through a few pedals, including my two secret weapons (cheap line of pedals, but HOLY are these two good):

Currently rocking my parts-built (albeit by the previous owner) red Strat fitted with lace sensors and a DiMarzio Evolution bucker in the bridge. I've grown quite attatched to it after some use. I'll try and slip a pic in here afterwards.

You should all know what a Black Epi Les Paul looks like after reading this thread, that's my second.

Into this...

Then through this...

All through this 100W 2x12 all tube beauty. It's my newest plaything :-)

Chuck, I'm sure by keyboard standards that thing sounds lovely - but please don't call it a piano.  Pianos go "twang" and "clunk" and "plink" and all sorts of other interesting sounds because of all the strings and hammers and general mechanisms involved.  Anything that doesn't do that isn't a piano.

My main beef with Dano pedals is that they're flimsy. I've played music with a variety of people, from acoustic performances to the full meal deal, but usually the music is loud and fast. And, as I found out one day, Dano pedals do not like their user jumping into the air and coming crashing down on the switch to turn them on. Snap, crunch, twist. One dead pedal. Also, I found that often the sound was hit-and-miss with them.

However, you seem to have gotten two of the good ones, if you're satisfied with them. :)

Well, considering that it is a digital piano, and the major features are touch sensetive keys and real piano sound... yeah it does clunk and plink and have the sound of hammers hitting strings.

Electric pianos = pianos, for all practical purposes.

Fair enough, but they can sound really, really good.  The trick is to not take the term "stompbox" too literally...

Thanks! Carvin custom's are awesome. I bought it used, but the abuse I dish it makes it look a lot older than it really is. It's a very sturdy instrument, and it's one of the few fretlesses I've played that has a real midrange punch to it.
