Guitar Naming

I'm having trouble naming a guitar, it's a Squier strat (don't laugh, I'm poor and it played well) pewter satin finish.

http://www.squierguitars.com/repository/squier/images/0321800543_zoom.jpg

It's this but it has 3 single coils (I want to change them to fender lace sensors)

I still can't come up with a name for it. I'm not creative when it comes to naming insturments, I call one of my keyboards Veronica and another Betty.

any input will be appreciated

Hellen because when something goes wrong playing you can say, "Ah, Hell!"  (Hell(en) of course) so it's her fault not yours ;)

Naming instruments is a bit weird.

Although my violin is called Steve.

I never named my drums.  Is that a bad thing?

hmm everytime I use a female name, I end up having a bad experiance with a girl of that name and end up hating my insturment. I once smashed a Key Board, those keys fly.

My guitar has a name but that is a secret between the two of us. However, many people know that my computer is called Pooter. And has a happy face and an angry face.

My computer is called Redmond - or, to give it its full name: Redmond, Adventurer on the High Seas (when I was setting it up I was prompted to give it a short name and a longer, more descriptive name - so I did).

As for naming instruments, all I can say is: "Your guitar's name is Charlene!"

See, you have a theme going here. I suggest Midge, Cheryl, or Nancy.

My electric is named Mike and my acoustic is named Tito.

I don't see where creativity enters into it.

No shit? Preston is my name. Hurrah!

Anyhow, I named my good ol' squier Sally. And I think I remember naming my acoustic Christoph. I never got around to naming my Epiphone. In honor of my uncle, who is the coolest person ever, I named my shitty little yamaha keyboard Computer 7. It's a long ass story.

My friend had this pimp-ass custom headless bass and it had a sticker on it that said "I <3 Munich" on it. So she named it Deutch The Destroyer. That kicked ass. That bass kicked ass. I think I will steal it.

Napolean may have been small, but he was great in the sack (or so I understand). Maybe your shitty amp is great in the sack too... Maybe your amp is cheatting with your girlfriend on you. Maybe your little amp is the pimpest of the pimp.

I think I'll name my blues junior Chewbacca.

Hehe, my old pearlish white 24 fret Charvel is named Marvin. ;)  I named it such because it's the only guitar I can play a bit of O.K. Computer on.  Kinda funny Marvin ended up being that kinda white in the movie...

See, that's not the problem, the problem is my knee-jerk reaction of "ME ARTIST MUST BE UNIQUE AND CREATIVE BLARGHAHRHGRHAGG".  No actual hate, I just wish I'd thought of it first.

...That said, I think I will go ahead and use the name, I'll just grumble about "selling out" for a bit.  ;)

My Bass is "El Basso". My guitar is "El Guitaro".

I also have a tuba and a trombone, but neither of those have names, although I sometimes like to refer to the tuba as "Wide Load" when it's in the gig bag.

I can't say I'd ever bother to name my Seagull.  I would be tempted if I ever came up with the $2000 it took to buy a decent San Diego made Taylor

My guitar has no name, but I can't think of a name either.
It's a Maroon finish...doesn't seem like it needs one. My maroon bass doesn't have one either.

my taylor is named Robyn, it has a red belly and acoustics must have a ladies name in my opinion.
my schecter is named Dr. Destructo or The Destructotron or Scourge of The High Es (i break at least one stng a practice, usually high e or the B)
(Dr. is for when he's a surgeon, the Tron is for when he thrashes, and the Scorge is for when he breaks another f**king string!!)
