Okay, i got this afew months ago, and haven't yet been able to get it to work properly - it freezes immediately after the opening movie.

so I'm downloading the version 1.0b patch. the 1.0a patch was 1.9Mb. The b patch is 16 megs.

I'm on dial-up here. there's no way I'm pulling down 16 megs before the connection times out...

hmm, sounds like the xbox version, buggy.

except you can't get patches for the xbox, so we all got reamed on that one

Mine gives me black screens at certain levels (sound and menu works, just no game)

Also, I can never use my workbench for some reason, and I get random freezes.

With an unmodded xbox too.  I even brought it back because if the errors, got a new xbox and new copy of kotor2, and same problems, minus the workbench thing happened wit hthe new one.

Its not just me either, check out the bugs section of the Obsidian forum, I'm kinda dissapointed.

Had the same problem, update your video drivers, even if you have already do it again.

Edit - The patch most probably wont run at all cause i tried the same thing.

That's lame.  The only problems I've ever had with it on xbox is when I was trying out the CD condoms.  The 'box didn't care for them.  Also Jade Empire didn't seem to like to run while the DVD infrared-thingy was still plugged into a controller slot.
