They're ponytails.  Jeez.  Not really "straight out of the 80's" as they've been around some good deal longer.

True, but so was dressing like a slob-----but it only became /popular/ with the grunge movement of the early nineties.


Pigtails were /it/ in the eighties.

Hurk.  Oh man.  I had some fashion facist in middle school try telling me "grunge was so 92" or some shit due to always dressing like a slob.  This was only a year and half or so later as well.
