Dora's Shirt
« on: 01 Aug 2005, 03:55 »

It's killing me. I need to know what the symbol on Dora's shirt (in the current storyline) is! At first I thought it was the Heartagram (symbol for Finnish rock band HIM) and upon closer inspection, it still looks like a kinda messed up version of it. I dont know if its because I'm a big HIM fan that I keep seeing the heartagram, but if anyone knows what it REALLY is, I'd LOVE to know!

It is the Anarchy "A" inside a heart. Kind of a "Love Anarchy" thing.

I think Jeph's just sort of made it up.

Ah, I guess that makes sense. And it also explains why I kept seeing the Heartagram...Thanks!

Way to resurrect a 3-year-old thread about shirts.

C'mon, if it doesn't take place in a discussion that is 3-years-dead then you've wasted your first post.

Yeah, super old thread, but just wanted to point out that Jeph didn't create the anarchy heart: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Folk_punk

I considered getting a tattoo of it at some point, still might. My politics are mostly of an anarchist leaning and I am a folk punk fan. Plus it just looks really cool.
