So, i want to start another comic despite my miserable previous attempts. I've drawn one comic, and done another in Adobe illustrator, The hand done one will never be the one I do, I suck at drawing. I'm going to do it in illustrator, but here's both anyway.

A newer attempt:

ZOMG, something other than a profile.:

New one, no joke, just wanted to do a tree and stuff.

More:

Another:

*please note; all dialog is simply a vehicle for the art, no characters or plot has been decided, and no jokes written.

How shall i put this?

How about like this: Wow! That was an informative and well thought out post!
No, that would be a lie.

More like this: Wow! That was a complete waste of space! And deragatory too!

Well what do you want?  Are you asking us for our advice and to critique your work?  Or are you just flagrantly breaking the rules?  Either way, don't expect everyone to be complimentary.

it's not funny, and the art could stand to improve. my best advice for the art is to copy another artists style over and over until it becomes your own.

also, the dialogue placement isn't very intelligent. rethink where you put the background, especially the windows, or even dull them out using pastel colors or a slightly lower opacity. remember to seperate foreground from background.

I can stand poor art if the jokes are funny.

So if you think of yourself more of a writer than an artist, work on your drawing a bit more but keep focusing on writing funny and original comics.

that slogan is a good slogan. so good, in fact, I think it should be applied to other things. like, "there's no wrong way to hit your spouse." or "there's no wrong way to commit nonconsentual sodomy."

Flagrantly breaking the rules? None at all occuring here. I simply do not enjoy unsolicited flames. Critiqueing the comic itself and giving some help is most welcome. Though I cannot fathom why anyone would comment on the jokes not being funny when I specifically state that they are not supposed to be good jokes. I suppose the interweb is reading optional.

Well if you already know they're bad jokes, why get so offended and jump down somebody's throat when they point that out in a fairly mild way?  It just doesn't make sense.

And so you have to remember when you're in that jury room deliberating and conjugating the Emancipation Proclamation; does it make sense?

Its not just that there isnt any jokes.. the dialogue is downright retarded.

Okay, its obvious you cant draw. That alone wont stop you from making comics though.. But if you cant write iether, just give up now.

I would say it is a pet peeve of mine, people simpy ignoring what I write to try and establish something that is already stated.

I really like some,
but the some are groaners,
Don't worry, these people here probably aren't the best judge of humor.

Comic art needs consistency, but using the same drawing for a whole strip is NOT cool. It's annoying.

Not a fan of Dinosaur Comics, I take it.

but see dinosaur comics is funny. not a "vehicle for the art" i wouldn't really call it art, come to think of it, just enough visual to make it a fun comic and help the timing seem right.
