So i picked up Bushido Blade for £3.99 at gamescastle last weekend. The box is totally mangled but the game plays perfectly.

It really does kick ass. I love it soooo much!

Anyone else love Bushido Blade and it's sequal here?

If so, Let me see you put your hands in the air!

Those were basically my favorite two fighting games ever.

You could THROW your SWORD through SOMEONE'S SKULL!

I always get this game and Samurai Showdown mixed up.  Which is the one where you can take out the other player's legs?

Bushido Blade.  Specifically the second one.

My friend and I would have marathon sessions with these games.  Oh the excellent/horrifically painful memories.  The unlockable characters (afro man!) in the sequel were a really nice touch.

Outstanding games.

You should, it's awesome.  Honestly I've only played the second one.  My friend got a copy with out the manual though.  So when I first played it and kept cutting down all the enemies while they were still all "BLAH BLAH HONOR AND BUSHIDO" I thought I was doing awesome.  WHOOPS.

Bushido Blade is indeed badass. My stepbrother is like 23 and thought he could beat me though, 'cause he's got years of experience playing it. Hahaha he never knew how wrong he was until the score was about 76/40 in my favour.

I remember the one night I ever played this game... for 8 hours straight. It is the greatest.

Never gotten around to playing the sequel, but I have promised to, during college, buy a PlayStation and catch up on all the many games I missed, in lacking a TV.
