So uh. Yeah. The title pretty much says it all. Do you have your own bands? If so, post links here in this thread.

And yes, I have my own band. We are called http://www.myspace.com/obgynkenobi">OB/Gyn Kenobi. So far the recordings on there are just me, guitarist/drummer Patrick James, on the guitar. I hope they don't suck *too* much for you. Trust me, we're a lot better when it's Lukas and Richard on guitar, Wesley Charles on bass, and me on drums. Like, exponentially better.

Nice to meet you all, by the way. I'm still rather new to the forums.

Haha! That be me (bass, vocals), Sturge (guitar, vocals) and Carl(Fabio) (drums).

Dan (the lead singer and keyboard player) has yet to call a practice, although I have heard that he wants one. Dear Christ. Trip are an opera metal/hard rock/glam band, this is going to be very funny indeed.

My other band is called The Orgasmic Hellos, who are me (guitar, vocals, bass), Carl (drums) and Bianca(see "Female Singers" thread) (vocals, guitar).

i tried to make a crappy soft rock band with some guys before, but it kinda failed coz we had a useless drummer.

No, but me and a couple of my friends are major fans of a band called Team Undysfunctional(with the un crossed out) which I made up. We got T-shirts and everything. It's become something of a running joke between us. OMG TEAM UNDYSFUNCTIONAL SO SOLD OUT! Actually, one of their 'albums' is called Selloutz!.

We're thinking of making it an actual band, which is why I'm learning guitar and my friend is learning keyboard. I made a terrible mistake, though. I got a spanish guitar. I have small girly hands, spanish guitar too wide for me. Can't do a lot of chords properly.

I wish I had known this before I bought it, but sadly, I was guitar illiterate at the time.

I was in a really shitty metal band for about 13 seconds, and quit when they named themselves "Plethora of Blood". Seriously, guys, you can do better than that.

Oh, waitwaitwait! I was in a band once. We called ourself the EFB. We never made any music, unless you count the IDM type noises that we produced one night while drinking Mike's Hard Lemonade. But I do have a shirt and hat with the logo on 'em.

I really want to be in a band. I also really want to be able to play guitar. Neither seem to be happening for me...

I write songs though. And when I was in 8th grade my friend and I wanted to start a band called the 'Carnivorous Snails'. But then everyone else I knew thought it was a crap band name...and so my 8th grade dreams were shattered. (not like it would've happened anyway...)

I'm in a fledgling punk band called The November Criminals. Well, I say band. It's more about drinking than music. We have the grand total of two songs, which is, conincidentally, the same number of chords I can play. One of them is about Robocop. If it was ever to be recorded, or even played in public, the whole of society would fall apart at the seems. It's genuinely the worst song ever written. In our defence, we're not really taking it seriously. I sort of wish I hadn't written this now. Meh.

I have a sort of, half-band going at the moment. It's me, guitar and vocals, my friend on guitar and vocals, and a drummer. We've yet to find a bassist amongst our friends that wants to play anything but speed-metal, so it's ever-so-slightly frustrating.
We're slightly reminiscent of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs/Deerhoof/Death From Above 1979; it's an interesting mish-mash of genres. Sometimes we go a bit surrealist and just make 10 minute tracks of us improvising each other's faces off. It's good fun. One day, we'll manage to get into a recording studio.
We're stuck for names, but at the moment, it's Day of the Dead, because I like Mexican folklore.
