Ok, am I the only one who is very excited about this game? Seriously, i was a huge fan of that dinky Guitar Freaks arcade machine, and now theyre bringing it to my PS2, and making it BETTER?

I had not heard of this game.  I shall have to look it up, for it sounds interesting.  Is this something like Gitaroo Man?  No, that would be too good I suppose...

I was actually pretty excited about this, but then I realized that the game itself has a low percentage of shred. They could've at least given us a Maiden tune or two.

I'm totally planning on checking this game out, but right now all of my limited video game time is being spent on Fire Emblem: Path of Radience.

What I want to know is, will they release additional song packs, a la multiplayer maps for Halo? Otherwise, the game would probably get boring after a while.

Probably not. It's a PS2 game, and the amount of users who actually have hard drives in their PS2's is negligible. All of them are probably Final Fantasy XI players, too.

Cmon est, theres 17 songs you dont know about yet.
Besides, they dont have to be great songs, so long as you totally ROCK them. That's what the game is about![/quote]

Eeek!  The music thread rears it's ugly head!

Is it wrong that I am considering buying the game and playing it off my brother in law's ps2?
