Home Movies for me. I personally found it to be my favorite show on Adult Swim (Do they even have it on there anymore?) I never got into Mission Hill.

but the music sucks because the keyboards don't have the cold/mechanical sound they had but a wannabe techno sound that it's pathetic for Rammstein standars.

Holy crap, how is this even a contest?

Fast paced, constantly hilarious, constantly original, improvisational, character/dialogue-driven comedy gold...

vs.

Boring sitcom-ish tripe.

Home Movies is (was) pretty much one of the greatest comedic works in any medium.  If you wanted a question that could conceivably have more than one answer, you'd put it up against the only other show on Adult Swim ever to compete in the same league: Venture Brothers.  Even then I'd still give the edge to Home Movies.

i just thought they would be interesting against one another because they both are heavy on sarcasm and irony, that's all.

ooh, venture brothers. i do love that show as well.

Home Movies can be silly, but still remain clever. Mission Hill was essentially a string of masturbation jokes.

I chose Home Movies, just because Mission Hill only had one season, and it kinda got boring watching an episode more than a few times. I really like the style of Mission Hills animation as well, and the writing was pretty awesome.

I think they were both awesome, but Mission Hill had a Cake song for its theme song, so it wins.
