Not sure whether this is more appropriate in this subforum or the TV one, but Clap Your Hands Say Yeah was playing in the background at the party in the newest episode of "The Office."

It made me happy.

That is all.

I do love that show, but I missed it last night, so I need to download it.

But yeah, snazzy.

but the music sucks because the keyboards don't have the cold/mechanical sound they had but a wannabe techno sound that it's pathetic for Rammstein standars.

Holy concurrence, Batman!  I was thinking just last night about starting a thread about awesome music used in T.V. shows.  This was inspired by watching Without a Trace last night, which featured at various points "'Round Midnight" by the Miles Davis Quintet, off the album 'Round About Midnight which is pretty much my favourite jazz album ever.

I was also unsure about which forum to put it in.

I didn't hear that, but saw it pointed out somewhere.  They're more Clap Your Hands Say Blah! to me, but that's just a personal preference.

But two weeks ago when they played the New Pornographers I did just about shit myself, so I suppose I can't act all high and mighty.

I dig Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, but I thought that "Say Blah" line was pretty funny. :)

The Office producers must like indie rock. In the ep before last week's, they had "Sing" by Travis playing on Jim's ipod.

The Office is a good show. The British version is better tho.

Went a little off topic there I know but its kinda on topic also.

The music's pretty good, but the guy's voice makes me want to pull my intestines out of my stomach.  Sorry bud.

I was sad that there was no new Office this week, thanks to America's Fattest Fatties.

The British version is better. Ricky Gervais did a phenomenal job.

You were neither on nor off topic. You were like ... half-on topic. Half-off? Is this a case of the glass half-full?

Is this a case of the topic half-on?

You know, I haven't seen the British version. I have a few episodes downloaded and I haven't watched them. Either way, every single time this is brought up, I get at least one snobbish person going "The British version is better". It's like, fuck you!

and Steve Carrell!
