I have a transperent orange SChectre Diamond Series guitar.  A Fender Hot Rod Deville 410 and a boss DD-5 digital delay with a tap temp pedal that i have attached to it.

In the next couple months my amp is changing to a Sunn Model T head and an Orange 2 12 cab.

Im also going to get a wammy pedal and atleast one more delay pedal.

I like delay... I also like radiohead... way way way to much.

Right know I play a 89 Silver Series all black Telecaster and a custom acoustic from a local workshop which both suits me down to the ground for what I am doing right now but I would kill for a Gibson Lucille and basically any Martin acoustic because let's face it,I want to show off.

Pathetic.

Dream Gear:

'59 Gibson Les Paul equipped with Parsons B-string Bender

'75 Gibson SG
'65 Fender Stratocaster
'69 Fender Jaguar
'68 Gibson EDS-1275
Taylor 12-string acoustic
Yamamoto 6-string acoustic (handmade by a Bay Area [California] luthier)
Brian May's Red Special
Marshall JCM2000 Triple Super Lead amp head
Vox AC30 amp head
(8x) Marshall MF400 amp cabinet

Badass!

i've got a fender american stratocaster hss that i play through a fender hot rod deville 410. pedal wise, boss tu-2, mxr distortion+, and a boss rv-3.

if i got another guitar it'd probably be either a g&l bluesboy or fender telecaster hs. as for another amp, i'd be looking at either something by orange or dr.z.

Well, my dad's a Luthier (builds and fixes instruments) part time, so i got help on a lot of my custom projects.

current gear:
90's Fender mim strat (noiseless pickups, shielded, black/black pg. /maple neck)
1979 Gibson Labseries L9 Amp (#4242)
Custom Fender P/J bass Dark Walnut (white block/white bound maple neck, seymour duncan 1/4 pounder j and p pickups)
Custom Fender P bass (midnight blue/black pg. /rosewood neck, seymour duncan spb-3 pickup)
1985 Squier Japan Jazz bass white/white/rosewood
90's Washburn XB-100 Tobacco Sunburst (first bass... has a bartolini pickup in it and sounds fucking incredible... it's going on ebay soon, though)
Acoustic Control Corporation Model 126 Bass Amp
PA Boards
Acoustics (an ovation, a washburn, an old Barclay and Silvertone)
E-H Big Muff
Digitek RP-200 Modeling Pedal
Crate 15-watt amp (the preamp chip in it makes it sound just like a fucking Marshall when it is cranked)
Yamaha Portasound Keyboard

Want:
Ampeg SVT Tube Bass Head (maybe a V-4) and the SVT-410-HLF cabinet (cause its the biggest that will still fit in my car) 8 10'' speakers is too much. if you're at a venue that needs that much, they'll mike your shit and run it through the PA.

i really want either a Fender Super Six Combo or a Fender Bassman Head and Marshall Vintage Head + 2 Orange 4 12 cabinets. The stereo sounds  would be fucking incredible.

I also want an old Rickenbacker 4001. I like their sound better than the new 4003 models.

damn. typed too much again.

That is so awesome it hurts.

I have an ESP Something or other (Too lazy to look up the model name at the moment), a fender bass I got for free,  a strat, some acoustic, a mandolin, a fiddle, and some drums.

I want this badass motherfucker:

And yeah, an organ would be badass too.

Have:
Black Gretsch Pro Jet
30 Watt Line 6 Spider II amp

And that's it. I really need to start buying more, but I don't have the time to start playing seriously. Which is why I'm really going to start splurging on effects and so forth once I graduate.

Dream Gear:

Steve Vai's signature Ibanez
John Petrucci's custom MusicMan (Which, I actually can probably afford eventually)
Mesa amps
Dunlop CryBaby wah pedal
I also want a distortion pedal and an overdrive pedal, but I don't know what's the cream of the crop there.

Although the Steve Morse MusicMan is pretty sexy too. 6 coils of pickups, ZOMG.

I've played Orange amps, and they're nice, but the distortion isn't quite what I'm looking for. Unless, of course, it's a tube amp and I've got the SHIT cranked out of that thing. Nothing sexier than signal distortion through the tubes, yo. :B

What I have now

Fender MIA Telecaster
Foxrox Octron
Z.Vex Fuzz Factory
EHX Sovtek Big Muff Pi (the old green one)
Zoom Ultra-Fuzz
EHX Flanger Hoax
Mood Ring Modulator
Dod fx25 envelope filter
Dod fx90 analog delay (primarily used for self-oscillation)
Ibanez DML10 (modulated delay, makes your guitar sound like a melting record player)
Boss DM3 (analog delay, primarily used for short "slapback" type delays)
Boss DD6 (digital delay, used for reverse delay and making short loops)
Fender Musicmaster amplifier

I run all of the pedals in a handful of loops through a home made switch box... running them all at once (even bypassing all of them in the same chain) would sound terrible.  Aside from that, it is necessary to split them up because the fuzz factory does not work well with any sort of pitch shifting or modulation.

What I would like to own

1960's Fender Jazzmaster
Z.Vex ooh wah
Lovetone Big Cheese
Lovetone Meatball
Mu-tron C-200 vol/wah

Another musicmaster (or a pair of silverface 70's era princeton's) would be cool too, openning the door for a stereo set up.  I have always wanted to experiment with that.

The "orange crush" series is transistor powered.  You have to lay down the big bucks for the vacuum tube goodness.  All of the amp heads they make are definitely tube driven though.

assuming you're talking to me, i found the class a tube amps to sounds significantly better then class a/b. that's why i've set my sights on the maz 38. i find my deville (65 watt tube) doesn't break up till it's rediculously loud. with the maz 38 sr. however i can make it break up at a lower volume by messing with the master and volume controls.

Another, less-controllable but still possible way to do that is use the headphone output jack instead of the PA output. It significantly reduces the output signal volume for headphones (for obvious reasons) and therefore you can crank your tubes and get that warm, meaty distortion without such a deafening volume. Good for small-venue clubs. ^__^
