Seriously Randy Millholland has got to be the master of dropping that little sadistic spin that does show up in real life on his readers every so often.

If you read S*P, you do get smacked with an emotional sledgehammer every so often.

This here's one of them.

Good lord that has got to be the saddest comic I ever read. I mean, it's extremely well done for it to communicate that much emotion, but damn, that's depressing.

Yeah, he's DAMNED good at what he does.

It's just you need to counterbalance him with at least five funny comics in order to avoid spending the rest of the day depressed...

Today's brought it all together.

You think he killed off his mom in his comic to brace himself for her eventual demise?

That comic's even more depressing if you've been following the comic.

S*P and 8-Bit theatre were the first 2 webcomics I read, and I love how S*P is so well written.

But DAMN, that was a suckerpunch.

I love this, it proves my love for this comic is justly rewarded. To counterpoint this strip for new readers before you read it hit first comic.

It would suck if you were a brand new reader and that was the first one you read.
