i really wish they (dreamworks) would rerelease it so it feasibly be played upon newer computer systems

I vaguely recall playing the demo to this game years and years ago. The puzzle in that screenshot is familiar to me.

As for getting it to work in XP, this article may help you.

i own that game, havent played it for years but i love it. classic weirdness. great game.
remember the little guy in the birdhouse?  "oh, hi, its you. . .go away!"
still makes me laugh.
