Actually I prefer albums like Trollstormur. yesterday I listened to My Bloody Valentine - Isn't Anything all day.

1. Gloria Estefan - Mi Tierra(the ill-conceived spanish learning again, I haven't listened to it before, it is very...latin?)
2. Low - Untitled instrumental(the noise ambient part before In Metal on Things We Lost in the Fire)
3. At the Drive-In - Quarantined(I really should get something else than Relationship of Command)
4. Metric - Succexy(good indie pop, but it has a sort robot feel that annoys me slightly)
5. Tori Amos - Winter(Little Earthquakes is a really good album)
6. Björk - Aurora(I might as well admit it, I love Björk!)
7. Sufjan Stevens - Riffs and Variations On a Single Note For Jelly Roll...(I just sort of stopped listening to it, because it was so goddamn long)

1. otep - "fillthee" (i never listened to that much, it's the only song of them i have. always reminds me of some kind of a death metal-version of the guano apes.)
2. heaven shall burn - "the weapon they fear" (i don't listen to that stuff, i just downloaded it out of interest.)
3. bongzilla - "sacred smoke" (hell yes! again, a band of which i only have one song, i got this from stonerrock.com, but bongzilla rock. and this song's got a nice riff)
4. coldplay - "yellow" (ummmmmmmm... yes. got this from a friend.)
5. madball - "united blood" (again, i only have 2 songs by this band. i don't really like them.)
6. johnny cash - "i hung my head" (well that's a nice song there. i like me some johnny cash)
7. radiohead - "scatterbrain. (as dead as leaves.)" (actually, that's the first time i'm listening to that song. pretty good so far)

yeah right now only about 3/5 of my music is on my mp3 player...so i listen to a lot of albums on repeat on my stereo in my bedroom...

and my mp3 is permanently on shuffle because the screen died...and it died while it was on shuffle, thank god...or else i'dbe listening to everything alphabetically:/

so i kina have to live with being surprised every time i listen to music...ah well.

Or not! Time for more complete randomness and embarassment at what I have on my computer! Then it's off to a rehearsal. I'll leave you all to discuss how hilariously poor this music is.

1. Leonard Bernstein - Mass, Theatre Piece for Singers, Players and Dancers (not the whole thing, just a movement, and the title is too long to be stored in the tag, but this is a great piece, with a number of really cheesy, cheesy parts that one must just ignore)
2. The B-52's - Mesopotamia (wait, I have B-52's on my computer! Score!)
3. Rhapsody - Deadly Omen (the epitome of power metal cheese!)
4. Red Hot Chili Peppers - Falling Into Grace (eh, all Chili Peppers tunes sound pretty much the same)
5. Charles Mingus/Duke Ellington/Max Roach - Wig Wise (goddamn, Money Jungle is one amazing album. I need to listen to it more)
6. Stravinsky - Le Sacre Du Primtemps (I'm not sure which movement, but I think it's somewhere in the first half, towards the end. This is probably one of my favorite pieces of music EVAR! w00t!)
7. Racer X - Snakebite (oh man, excellent 90's continuation of glam, but with some amazing skill and awesomeness)

I'd say this is a pretty good list, and actually a reasonable representation of what I listen to. Go me! Anyways, talk amongst yourselves.

Oh, it's one of my favorite things on the internet. Especially the power metal ones, because I pretty much get all the jokes. I don't even get the ones on prog metal, and I've actually played prog metal (I only kind of played power metal, and it was deffinitely mixed with prog).

Love - "Old Man" (I've listened to it practically nonstop for two years, and Forever Changes still blows me away.)

Queen - "Flash" (usually I don't like Queen too much, but..."Flash! Whoooah! Saviour of the universe!")

John Williams and Itzhak Perlman - "I Could Have Done More" (from Schindler's List. This makes me want to hang myself.)

John Williams - "Escape from Venice" (Two Williams pieces in a row, what are the chances? This is from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, without a doubt the best film in the series. Remember the part with the crazy fez dudes and the boat chase?)

Nick Drake - "One of These Things First" (I really got into Nick Drake about a year or two ago. I've sort of gone off him, at least for the time being.)

The Bonniwell Music Machine - "Astrologically Incomplete" (Some psychedelic song from about 1967. A bit generic.)

Aphex Twin - "Alberto Balsalm" (Got quite a nice beat; this is my first listen to the song.)

The Who - "Love, Reign O'er Me" (Damn, this was used to great effect in the Quadrophenia film, which hasn't been released in region 4. One of the greatest films of all time. Come on, distribution companies, get your fucking acts together before I instigate some sort of hostage situation.)
