It's You by Garth Brooks (live)
Explaination:  I don't know how I got this.  I'm guessing that some idiot cousin of mine downloaded it to my computer when my back was turned.  It is now deleted.

Keep Your Secrets by Trans-Siberian Orchestra

Yesterday Don't Mean Shit by Pantera

The Sleep by Pantera

Great Balls of Fire by Jerry Lee Lewis

Hanuman Chalisa (random Hindu Chant)

Drum Salute by The Royal Scotts Dragoon Guards

This is why I never use my entire music collection when playing music.  I never know what I'm going to find.  I never listen to any of that, normally.

La Vie Boheme - Rent

Haha! yay!

1. Free Design - Track 6 from Kites Are Fun.
I imported this when away from internet (AFI?) on holiday in England, and so couldn't look up track names. Now I am too lazy to enter them myself, delete and rerip, or change the info that I changed back to the old stuff so that iTunes can look it up again.
2. Four Tet - My Angel Rocks Back and Forth
OMG love Four Tet. Don't like Fridge as much though =//
3. Architecture in Helsinki - DTW Metronomy Remix Rough
DL'd from their website. Bit of a dodgy remix. I kinda like it better than the original, but it sounds like a different song rather than a remix if you ask me.
4. P.E.D. - the Frog Song
Old school hardfore ftw? I used to listen to all kinds of this stuff :-)
5. Dahmer - Dahmer
Erg, I used to listen to thrash punk and crust and stuff too.
6. Jawbreaker - The Boat Dreams from the Hill
Possibly my favourite song ever. "Anchored to a fixer-uppers dream" indeed.
7. David Crowder Band - No One Like You
I admit it, I like some God-rock. Actually, I probably like roughly 40% of David Crowder's songs. The other 60% sound like shitty ballads or something.

Also, first post in AGES. like May '05? So almost a year. (I did a search. Apparently I have one post in September. 6 months :-P)

The Rolling Stones - "Sympathy for the Devil"

What the fuck is with the necro-posting recently?

Well, with approx. 20 new people joining per day, and a current total of, oh, 512,939 posts, I'd be pretty sure that people have neither the time nor the inclination to search for EVERY SINGLE VARIATION of something that they think might be fun to post? In addition, with the rate of growth, should we newbies just be contented to read the old posts and think about how great it would have been if we had joined sooner, so we could participate?

It's the house style, necroposting is frowned on if you have nothing new to add. List threads aren't that popular around here either. This was a dull thread, it really should have stayed dead. Why not start a new thread about an exciting band, local scene, genre or musical instrument you particularly like? Or one about Man Is The Bastard. I fucking love powerviolence.

Pretty much, yeah. As a general rule you are go to post in any thread that has had replies in the last week or so, I would say. Anything significantly older and you better have something damn good to add.

This was a dull thread, it really should have stayed dead.

Given the rather enthusiastic response rate, I'd say this is more a personal preference.

It's the house style, necroposting is frowned on if you have nothing new to add.

If the house has other suggestions for how to integrate newer members, and ensure they're not discriminated against by virtue of the facts (1) they weren't here when the thread was launched first time around and (2) senior members feel they "have nothing new to add", I'm all ears. Personally, if someone felt that my opinion on a subject doesn't add anything new, I wouldn't be overally impressed....

Then again, in two years time, I'll probably be asking why people are necroposting....

Yes, that's just a personal preference. I'm not a fan of listing things much.

As for being integrated, you could post in a thread on the first couple of pages or find an older thread where you can provide some new information such as a thread about a particular band who you know has done a new release you'd like to discuss, or a genre of music talked about where there are some artists you think were overlooked. Or you could start a thread about an artist or genre you know about and want to bring up or are interested in and would like to see if anybody here can give you some more information on. Maybe there's a more general observation about music you've made and you want to share, I notice the thread about music at work was started by somebody pretty new here and that's the kind of thing I mean.

That's all just me and my preference though, I'm hardly what you'd call a 'senior member' or anything like that and when I mentioned the 'house style' it was all based purely on what's been posted in threads describing the kind of posting preferred here stickied around the place.
