sure, they could do it, but the mars volta are much more laid back than those two bands. have you ever heard melt banana's cover of "we will rock you"? 'nuff said.

God, I hate those 'punk goes pop', 'punk goes acoustic', etc album. I wish all the bands that participated in those would slit their respective throats.
