Sorry, but when I try to accept it it gives me an error message saying "Error
Sorry, user limit reached. Please try again later." I'm planing on asking them on IRC about it but the past few days have been very hectic. I'll give it a tryt tomorrow in the evening.

You just have to keep trying to sign up. I got that message a few times and asked about it in IRC, turns out that they delete inactive accounts every 20 minutes, so sometimes you can't sign up because there are too many members.

Apparently, the error message itself is an error. If you keep getting it, just try logging in with the username and password you chose. Worked for me.

People that have been invited but did not register yet. Keep trying because bad accounts are deleted constantly so you should get in if you try in one hour intervals.

Currently there are 36468 torrents so I think anybody should find something for his/her taste.

BTW just a small advice for new members. Upload something that it is not already uploaded because it is kind a hard to have good ratio at first and read the rules (minimum bitrate is 192 for everithing expect audio books)

There are 1265 metal torrents right now and lots of IDM and other electronic music.

I would love an Oink invite if there are any left. I PMed someone, but I don't know if they are tapped out. I have an account at indietorrents that I'd be willing to share my login for (i don't have any invites yet), but its really tough to find stuff on indietorrents, they have strict no-RIAA rules.

I am really freaking chuffed with Oink. Since most of the CDs I have aren't RIAA safe, I wasn't really able to upload much on Indietorrents, and I've mostly just been crashing and burning downloading stuff that I hope other people will upload from me. Within my first two days on oink I had already uploaded two albums, and had 2 people each download them. The requests system is pretty kickass as well.

Thanks Spartan, this is the first private music tracker I've been on that I really felt was worthwhile contributing to.

Well, no. Just that people keep seeding all sorts of rubbish that sifting through it takes a lot of effort. I find that TorrentLeech is the place to be.

Whoa.... I was ultra mega excited because I got an invite from nihilist...and they totally banned me without a warning or even explanation. I just came back and all my torrents were stopped. I went to the chat to ask what happened, and I guess when my boyfriend helped me set up the bittorrent client (I don't know CRAP about that stuff), he set me up on the wrong one and had to do some kind of fix to get it to work. And so they just banned me and booted me from the IRC channel (which is the only way I can ask for forgiveness).

The thing that sucks is they were like REALLY REALLY rude and snotty about it and saying "It was clear what would happen if you did what your boyfriend did, and so tell him he ruined it for you." But I went back and read the rules and there was absolutely NOTHING that said I couldn't use the client I was using.

I wouldn't be that sad about it, but I had invested a TON of time into it so far. In a week, I had uploaded over 6.5 GB of stuff, including creating 2 torrents, and my sharing ratio was way above 100%. *sigh*

Sorry, I had to share that somewhere. VERY VERY SAD.

No, that's indietorrents.
My most popular upload on Oink is King Crimson's first album, which has been downloaded 54 times, so there's a healthy variety of taste.
