hey i was wondering if the qc audiophiles can help me...im looking for something in the techno/rock arena...i really like technolgic and 16 by 32...daft punk and the decemberists respectively...16 by 32 has one kickass beat...anyways i was wondering what you would recommend in that kinda mix...i dont really care for mogwai too much imho they are slow...well thanks and dont flame me or anything

Techno/electronica stuff? Go get some Wumpscut and some Skinny Puppy. And Velvet Acid Christ cause I said so.

I've been meaning to check out Mind.In.A.Box but haven't gotten around to it. Maybe I'll do it later today.

Cheers ;) and yeah you should definitely do that. Start with Lost Alone but honestly you'll be wanting both albums and the Certainty single. Fantastic band. :)

If you like "Technologic" you should try Daft Punk's Discovery.  I think you'd enjoy "Harder Better Fraster Stronger" from that album.

I know its generic but I'm gonna say the LCD Soundsystem album. Its rock-ish party-ish techno-ish fun.

Smoke some pot and find a community college student with a synthesizer. You're guarenteed to get some techno as well as the sound track to several war movies of the 1980s.

hey...thanks for all the info...after listening to some stuff not so much from here...im onto some m83 and decemberists...and im lookin for some techno that maybe has some poppy pluncky however u wanna call it guitar like riffs and stuff...maybe u ahve some idea what im talkin bout maybe not...im tryin to keep this up on top..eheh
