Bright Eyes? SNES?
That guy:
Indeed, where are the good threads?
nescience:
Here.
Rubby:
Ha, I get it. But I dont know what the hell store that is.
Ozymandias:
The origin of Bright Eyes is a Native American activist of the early 20th century who can basically be equated to a Native American MLK Jr.
Of course, the common occurance of the name in modern times is probably due to Charlton Heston's character in Planet of the APes, which every last goddamned person should watch because it's actually a really good movie even if you know the ending already.
On a third topic, Secret of Evermore is one of the best damned RPGs ever made and Square should be ashamed that they haven't ported it or made a sequel.
And, finally, I want to hear a Bright Eyes album made entirely where Conor Oberst is being kicked in the crotch.

Well there you go guys, this thread ended up being good after all. As a fan of Planet of the Apes, Secret of Evermore (i'm in the tiny minority that actually prefers it to Mana) and Oberst suffering testicular trauma (I was dragged to his concert at the Georgia Theater last year, blah to the max), I most definitely approve of Ozymandias's post.
Oh, and Oz, what motivated you to use that name? The old poem, The Watchmen, or some other use of that name that doesn't come to my mind at the moment?
