December 9th, 2002. Mary Hansen, of Stereolab, is hit by a truck while riding her bike in London; many doubt the band will continue without her integral backing vocals. Currently they seemto be doing alright. http://www.experiment.ru/img/news/mary_hansen.jpg

Troll pretty much capped my list. Valfar's death has been called the most bitterly ironic thing to ever happen in black metal, ever, and there's probably some truth in there.
All the fallen get my hails but, to be frank, Quorthon is the one that gets the most of 'em. Probably because I just remember hearing about it and being numbed, then playing Hammerheart and crying like an emo kid. So hail!
Inlander:
--- Quote from: Freezey ---the Exploding Hearts... 3/4 of them died in a tragic van accident. Their one full length "Guitar Romantic" was an excellent disc of power-pop.
--- End quote ---
Sounds eerily like what happened to For Squirrels . . .
Storm Rider:
Oh man, can you imagine if Frank Zappa was still alive? There'd be like, another 30 albums of material to listen to, not to mention his pissed off rantings on basically everything. Frank Zappa is one of my heroes.
Bastardous Bassist:
Also, that VH-1 movie about the hearings in congress which lead to the mature content stickers on CDs would have actually been, you know, accurate. Stupid Dee Snider.
