Joseph:
I'll agree with that, though those would only be worth it if you were actually reviving the dead. If those artists had never died, no way I'd be paying $400 to see them.
Kirbo:
I'd pay $400 to see Floyd now, hell I'd pay more.
I was born in the wrong era. My paretns got The Beatles, The Stones, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin ect, My brother got Nirvana, GN'R, Pearl Jam.
I got Green Day, The Killers and Rap....
Man, I'd pay way more than $400.
Gryff:
LIVE IN THE NOW!
There are so many fucking amazing bands around at the moment - it's your own fault if the most exciting thing you can find is Green Day. In the next month I am going to see Sigur Ros, the Mountain Goats and the Rolling Stones. Last month I saw Bonnie Prince Billy and the Bats. There is always incredible music being made somewhere - you just have to find it!
edit: None of these bands cost $400.
Kirbo:
Hehe, don't get me wrong here, I do listen to new stuff.....actually...when I started coming around this forum I started listening to new stuff (Thank you for introducing me to all this guys) But in terms of popular music, and what we have to sit through on the radio, is complete trash in comparison to what used to be.
And even the good music nowadays is (to me) nowhere near as good as music was in the 60's and 70's.
Gryff:
I disagree wholeheartedly, but respect your opinion.
Regards,
Gryff.
