I think what you said here is wrong. I'm not trying to defend the band, cause I'm not a huge fan either. It's just that you're wrong.

CYHSY experimental? What? Their charm is that they are an honest, simple rock band. They have just as much, maybe even more melody than the other bands mentioned. I don't know where you get experimental.

Deerhoof- Now there's a band I might like were it not for the singer.  Perhaps there actually are people who like Satomi Matsuzaki's voice.  I will never be able to understand why.

Staying on topic, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah isn't experimental at all.  Is it because of that "Clap Your Hands!" song that everyone except me seems to hate?

As for Wolf Parade, they had some good songs on their EP, but the album was disappointing and filled with... filler.  Songs like "Same Ghost Every Night" are painful.

I'm waiting for someone to bring up Tapes 'n Tapes.
