Rickenbacker's in the wild... (Help me be right)

The Thrill:
Roger Glover from Deep Purple used them, not that model though. I've seen Geddy Lee using them, the Beatles used them (guitars and basses), especially George Harrison.  I think Noel Redding (one of Hendrix's bass players) used one, although maybe only on a few tracks. It was mentioned, but Roger Waters used them at least a couple times. The dude from Rainbow used one (Ritchie Blackmore's band after Deep Purple). I can't think of anyone else really. Of course none of these are modern bands, but Rush and Deep Purple are still making music. The point is all of these bands are/were popular and at some point touched a Rickenbacker

Steve Kille from Dead Meadow plays one, and the bass tone on Dead Meadow albums is ace and more ace.
