I too have managed to not hear a single full They Might Be Giants song, ever.

Try being a creative writing major and having your roommate playing her TMBG album at 1 AM when you're trying to write a poem for your workshop the next day.  That's when I really started to dislike TMBG strongly.

Although, admittedly, I think if you hear, tops, one or two TMBG song a year, and if you're in a good mood, it has the possibility to be enjoyable.  Just NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER while you're trying to write good poetry.
