Something about the flexibility harmonic minor keys give to you, when you're looking to compose music which modulates, and incorporates things like whole-tone, or overtone, scales, seems to result in a predilection for music with a Spanish feel.  (and if even noticing that doesn't make me dorky enough, the fact that I notice for mathematical reasons surely does  )
