kthxbye

KharBevNor:
lol, just listened to that maximo park thing. Noice. Where do you get such classic drum loops and breaks from? I may have to have a play around with some. I'm already into making stupid electronic music and listing CotGV as an influence so I probably should.

Joseph:
I assume the Maximo Park trak was "the Night I Lost Khar"?  I can't seem to get it to play...

MilkmanDan:
The Night I lost Khar = Tune.
I did like Little Silver Drops, but it needed some BASSLINE. The break edits were pretty sweet, but that acid warble buisness simply doesn't cut it with me. I want sub-bass. So, uh. It was more of an IDM sort of vibe for me, despite the BPM and break edits and shit. More of a home listen than a shape-thrower. In conclusion, good.

In other news,
MIDRANGE DISTORTED BASS NONSENSE, MAN. FUCK THAT NOISE.

You find a list of breaks that people use, find out what song they originally came from and chop the break/individual hits out in an audio editor. Then you can sequence them however you see fit.

In fact, if you give me your email address I can send you a nice little folder with plenty of them to get your claws into.

That was really hurtful. I only made it to impress my parents. That and when you sit down to write a choon, it's really easy to stick overdrive on a 4x4 and work upwards. Yes it sucks. But it's easy.

Edit again: ... I assume you were talking about fuck
