Halo 3

Jiperlee:

--- Quote from: SilkyNumbNuts ---Assault Rifle, sorry.

I suppose that wasn't the most structured of posts; what needs clarification?
--- End quote ---

Mostly the AR part.....I mean, without knowing what AR stands for, any mention of AR doesn't make any real sense.

But Halo 2 sucked for me because Bungie decided to fuck over anyone without Xbox Live.

SilkyNumbNuts:
Ozymandias: I'm sorry, I would think think that in a game where you spend the majority of your time shooting at other people, what you are shooting at them with would form a reasonably important part of the game and would therefore be worth noticing.

Jiperlee: that was part of my point; the singleplayer sucked.

Jiperlee:
I still remember the first time me and my friend finished Co-op, in pretty much one sitting, what he said when the credits appeared.

"Thats it??!!"

I don't think we were asking for much- just an ending....

messeduplilkid:
oh lord why did you say so already! If we were talking about the single player experience then I completly agree with you. Campaign mode was a joke. Jiperlee, that was exactly my sentiment when i finished it!

The main reason i wanted halo 2, was for XBL. I remember countless hours of playing Halo: Combat Evolved on a program called Xbox Connect. Multiplayer was my main focus, so Halo 2 defeinitly fullfilled me.

But i still think that in Halo the shot gun was far more powerful. People on XBL call it the lottery cannon, because you never knew if it'll take 10 shots to kill someone or just the one. In Halo you could fire a round, and it would clean kill you more then half the time. But thats just my experience, maybe i just suck with a shotgun.

Again completly sorry that I didnt realize we were not talking about the same things.

And yes, lots of theories that its the MA2B, I personally wouldnt be at all suprized.

SilkyNumbNuts:
Yeah, the XBL mode was better, though I still found halo's mutliplayer more fun when not on live.

The shotgun in halo 2: I always thought it was the same. It would always kill me in one shot, but if I had it I could never return the favour.

I'm not sure what difference havign the MA2B would really make. It's described in the book as a smaller version of the normal AR.

My guess, either it's the normal AR, because Frankie didn't directly respond to that question, or it's the MA2B, so it doesn't look as ridiculously oversized on marines as it did in halo.
